Data show the mean numbers of RELN or DNMT positive neurons in non-psychiatric subjects (NPS) and schizophrenia patients (SP). The in situ hybridization was performed on tissue that had a post-mortem interval (PMI) of between 5 and 7 hr. ANOVA=NPS vs SP: Cell number = #/mm² x 10⁻³; NS = there is no statistically significant difference between groups: groups include 3 NPS and 7 SP.
